I
always see my friends and family buying new houses, and clothes and cars and having high paying job and I often find myself getting caught up in all of those wordly things and wishing I had them. But the most important things in life aren't things, its the small blessings that really matter. I have a husband that I love more than anything and he loves me the same and I get to be with for time and all eternity...that is what matters most and I am thankful for that!Ellis'shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15898014527320145176noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481725210114245665.post-13047469659840242582009-06-18T12:26:00.000-07:002009-06-18T12:42:02.117-07:00One of my million OCD listsSo.. Kim is a junior in high school and really busy so she isn't home much so you really don't need to babysit her, but Kori is in 5th grade and busy as ever! She has multiple things every night of the week. I was so glad that my mom asked me to watch the kids while she was gone because she usually has my grandma and aunts watch them so I was really excited because I have never watched them for that many days and I honestly didn't think it would be that hard...boy was I wrong! Being a mom to two teenage kids is HARD work! I have no idea how my mom or any mom does it, specially when she had 4 of us at home! You have to juggle going to work, getting the kids up and off to school, making sure they are to softball practice, piano, softball games and play practice, cooking dinner everynight, keeping the house clean, taking care of your husband, making sure their homework is done, make sure they did their reading for the day, planning your lesson for sunday, taking care of the dogs and farm animals, and laundry ( I'm sure I missed a few other ones too). I never realized how stressfull and hard it is to be a mother. Not that Kim and Kori are naughty, hard to take care of kids either, they are wonderfull kids! Its like that country song Mr. mom, I honestly don't know how they do it and have any time for their selves. During the middle of the week I told Jer that I am never gonna have kids, he then reminded me that kids dont go from little bundles of joy to busy teenagers over night and you slowly get use to all the hussle and bussle, which is true. But I just wanted to let all of the mothers out there, specially my mom, how much I look up to you and how greatfull I am to you! My mom could have easily said we could only take one dance class or only play sports so she could have more time for herself, but she NEVER did. Us kids did every single activity we wanted we did dancing, piano, multiple sports, voice lessons, traveling leagues... everything! And never once did I hear my mom complain about never having time for herself...NEVER! I am so greatfull for my wonderfull mom and her letting me watch the kids so that I could see how much mothers do for their children. Dad don't think I forgot about you, I am very greatfull for him as well. Without all of the time he has spent helping with things and also for working hard at work and making it financially possible to do all of the things I was able to do while i was growing up. I know that I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for my mom and dad being so un-selfish and letting me be involved in all of the things I have been. I love you mom and dad!!

Ellis'shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15898014527320145176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481725210114245665.post-86392646350499603922009-04-30T11:00:00.000-07:002009-04-30T11:05:44.574-07:00Storman Norman

Norman George Rudd(December 16, 1936 - October 24, 2008 Fielding-On a beautiful fall morning, Norman George Rudd, 71, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Fielding with his family by his side.
Norm was born December 16, 1936 to Electa and Clark Rudd at their family home in Fielding. He was the youngest of five children. In 1954, he graduated from BRHS. On September 19, 1955, he married his high school sweetheart DeeAnn Wood in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they had 6 daughters. We are proud parents of our adorable boy Gunner, he is the cutest yellow lab puppy alive!! We got him almost a month ago when he was 7 weeks old from a guy here in Tremonton. My family and I originally went to look at the puppies for my dad, who has secretively been wanting a puppy but wont admit it, and when we got up there only two puppies were left. They were just so cute Jer and I just had to get the other puppy. He stayed with his brother Cooper at my parents house for a few weeks so he could get the potty training thing down, we just recently took him to his new home which is out on the farm with our cows and chickens. He was really sad at first being a way from Koris new puppy westley and his brother cooper but he is now really liking living on the farm and just learned how to fetch his tennis ball!! Jeremy is sad because Gunner likes me more, when jer throws the tennis ball Gunner will never bring it back to him, he with hunt me down and bring the ball to me. But I hear that its normal for male dogs to like females more and vis versa, so who knows maybe another puppy will be in our future to make things even!!Ellis'shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15898014527320145176noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481725210114245665.post-15322145777422900042009-04-07T10:36:00.000-07:002009-04-07T10:47:43.560-07:00Food Storage?Lately Jeremy and I have been talking alot about Food Storage. We know that it is very important and we really need it but its so hard for fairly newlyweds to have the space or money to get everything they need to have a good Food Storage. So we got this wonderfull idea that instead of buying all the stuff for our Food Storage we will produce it! So we recently have purchased 10 baby chicks and 3 baby calves! This is Food Storage right?! It's probably not what President Hinckley ment by food storage but it works for us. Now we get up every morning and bottle feed our calves and then feed them again at night. It's amazing how much closer it has brought me and jer to have this little ( soon to be big) project. The chicks have grown so fast and the baby calves are adorable. I keep asking Jeremy what he wants to name our calves and he keeps telling me that I can't name something that we are gonna eat one day cuz then I will want to keep it as a pet and never kill it. At first I disagreed but I am finding out that I am getting pretty attached to Cupid, Chet and Oreo.Ellis'shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15898014527320145176noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481725210114245665.post-84567749530315991122009-04-07T10:25:00.000-07:002009-04-07T10:36:36.568-07:00Kara's Birthday!!So I am officialy a blogger! Every one has been telling me how fun this is and how I need to get me and jer one so I am really excited to finally get my butt in gear and make us one! Tuesday was my 21st birthday! Jeremy is such a amazing person, for my birthday he took this really old wooden table that I found in his grandparents barn and totally refinished, sanded, fixed and painted this table for my birthday. It was a great gift and I really loved it, he even took the time to sand the corners to give it that rustic look that I love. The night before I hung out with my family and got some really nice presents from my family and some way cute shoes from my sister Kelsie, they are all such nice people! Then on Tuesday Jeremy took me shopping and got me some really cute clothes at maurices and the Ed Hardy perfume at Buckle ( smells SO good!) Then we went out to a delicious dinner at Hamiltons steak house in Logan ( which was AMAZING!!) and finished the night cuddling on our bean bag watchin movies! It was a great birthday and thank you to everyone who made it be that way!Ellis'shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15898014527320145176noreply@blogger.com0
